Centerville Freedom Run
The Centerville Freedom Run is the 47th annual community running event held in Centerville, Utah. Net revenue from the event is used by the Centerville-Farmington Rotary Club for international humanitarian and local service projects. The event offers distances for different ages and includes a free schoolyard race for young children.
The event formats include:
- 5K, professionally timed with prizes for the first three finishers in each gender and age group
- One Mile, open to all ages and not individually timed; ribbons for finishers under 12
- Schoolyard Race, free for children ages 8 and under, no registration required
Registration fees vary by date. Standard online fees are 5K $17 ($12 for runners under 12) and One Mile $8 ($5 for runners under 12). Rates increase after May 31 and again for in-person registration on July 3 and July 4, with higher fees for the 5K and One Mile and reduced youth rates. All online registrations include a service fee. Shirts are optional and available for $10 each; availability may be limited for late or in-person registrations.
Bib pickup and in-person registration occur at City Hall (250 N. Main) on July 3 and at event-area pickup on July 4. The free schoolyard children’s races are held next to 100 East behind City Hall and may be staged by age depending on participation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
