Centerville Freedom Run
The Centerville Freedom Run is the 47th annual running event in Centerville, Utah, held on July 4, 2026. All net revenue from the event is used by the Centerville-Farmington Rotary Club for its international humanitarian and local service projects. The event takes place at and around City Hall and nearby locations in Centerville.
Multiple participation options are offered, including a timed 5K with individual race times provided by a professional timing service. Finishers in the 5K are ranked within gender and age groups, and prizes are awarded to the first three finishers in each gender/age group. A one mile run/walk is open to all ages and is not individually timed; finishers under 12 receive ribbons. A free schoolyard race for children ages 8 and under is held without prior registration and may be staged by age group depending on participation.
Registration fees vary by date and age category. Early online fees, late online fees, and in-person registration fees are specified for the 5K and the one mile, with reduced rates for runners under 12. Shirts are optional and available for purchase; availability may be limited for late or in-person registrations. Bib pickup and in-person registration are available at City Hall and at the park pavilion on the days before and of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
