Centerville Freedom Run - Race information
The Centerville Freedom Run is the 47th annual event held in Centerville, Utah. Net revenue from the event is used by the Centerville-Farmington Rotary Club for international humanitarian and local service projects. The program includes a timed 5K, a one mile run open to all ages, and free schoolyard races for children aged 8 and younger.
Distances:
- 5K
- One mile
- Schoolyard races for children 8 and under (free)
A professional timing service provides individual times and ranks 5K finishers by gender and age group; prizes are awarded to the first three finishers in each gender/age group. The one mile run is not individually timed; finishers under 12 receive ribbons. Organizers may stage the schoolyard races by age depending on entries.
Registration fees vary by period and entry method. Early online fees are lower, fees increase after May 31 and again for in-person registration. All online registrations include a service fee. Shirts are optional at a stated additional cost and may not be available for late or in-person registrants. Bib pickup and in-person registration occur at City Hall and at the park pavilion on the days before and the day of the event. Maps for the 5K and one mile routes are provided by the organizers.
