Centennial Airport Runway 5K : June 6, 2026
The Centennial Airport Runway 5K takes place at Centennial Airport in Englewood, Colorado, at 13005 Wings Way. The course uses Runway 10/28 and Taxiway D so participants run or walk on an active runway and taxiway. The event benefits the Centennial Airport Foundation; fundraising for the foundation shows $4,789.47 raised and a 99% progress indicator.
Participants receive a limited-edition race t-shirt and a finisher medal. The event features aircraft and vehicle displays, food, ice cream, beer for those 21 and older, and various vendors with giveaways. Post-race festivities are part of the event.
Registration for the 5K is marked as sold out and a waitlist is available. Youth registrants age 12 and under receive an automatic $10 discount. Advance packet pickup is offered at Road Runner Sports in Lone Tree on May 31 and June 5, and event day packet pickup is available on site.
There is no parking at the event site except for ADA exceptions; offsite parking and shuttle arrangements are used. Volunteer positions are limited; volunteers receive a limited-edition Race Volunteer T-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
