Céide Coast Atlantic Run 2026
The Céide Coast Atlantic Run offers two road race distances that follow coastal sections of the Wild Atlantic Way in County Mayo. Both races start at the Céide Fields Visitor Centre and finish in Ballycastle, with finish facilities described at Ballycastle Community Hall.
The 10K route follows the coastal road from the visitor centre toward Ballycastle, passing the Céide Cliffs and joining the half marathon course before finishing in Ballycastle Community Hall.
The half marathon follows the coast road from the visitor centre, passes Ballycastle Beach and proceeds to Downpatrick Head. The route enters the headland where runners cover about 500 m off road on grass and may view the Dún Briste sea stack depending on weather. The route then returns to the main road and finishes in the village of Ballycastle with refreshments in the Community Hall.
