Cedar Rapids Marathon
The Cedar Rapids Marathon Weekend is scheduled for April 25, 2027. The event includes multiple race options and a race expo and packet pickup held at the DoubleTree Convention Center. The expo is free and open to the public and features bib pickup, official merchandise, a vendor village, and opportunities to speak with coaches and nutrition experts.
The marathon course is described as flat and fast, beginning in downtown Cedar Rapids and running along wide, paved roads with minimal elevation gain. The route passes through historic neighborhoods, business districts, riverside paths, and several city parks, with long straight stretches and gentle turns. Routes are subject to change.

Volunteer roles support aid stations, packet pickup, course guidance, and finish area operations; volunteers receive a free shirt and may earn community service hours.
