Cedar Rapids Hot Cider Hustle
The Cedar Rapids Hot Cider Hustle takes place in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on October 10, 2026. The event offers chip-timed and fun run categories and uses NewBo City Market as the start and finish area. The course follows sections of the Cedar River Trail and highlights fall scenery.

Participants receive event gear with a runner’s choice between a classic t-shirt or a premium thin-tec 1/4 zip. Every participant will receive a 2026 finisher mug. Finish line refreshments listed for the event include hot apple cider and caramel apples. Half marathon finishers receive a finisher medal; 5K and 10K finisher medals are available as an add-on. Free digital photos are provided after the race though photos are not guaranteed.
The event supports Families Helping Families of Iowa, a nonprofit serving foster care children and families. The race provides pacers, live participant tracking via the RaceJoy app, and multiple water stations; half marathon stations include water and a sports drink. No dogs are allowed. Strollers are permitted for walkers and joggers only and must start at the back with a guardian signing a waiver.
