The Cedar Rapids Hot Cider Hustle takes place October 10, 2026 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, with the start and finish at NewBo City Market, 1100 3rd St SE. The event offers three distances:

The course is described as flat and fast and uses the Cedar River Trail. Races are chip timed and there are also fun run categories. Pacers will be available.
Finish line provisions include hot apple cider, caramel apples, and a 2026 finisher mug provided for every participant. Half marathon finishers receive a finisher medal; 5K and 10K finisher medals are available as add-ons. Awards are given to the top three overall and top three in each age group, male and female, for the half marathon, 10K, and 5K. Age groups begin at 10 and under and extend through 70 plus.
Participant options include mailed packet delivery for a fee and packet pick-up at the event site. A virtual category is available and virtual participants typically receive their gear by mail. Water stations provide water and half marathon stations include both water and sports drink. There is no gear check on site. Dogs are not allowed. Strollers are permitted for walkers and joggers only and require a guardian waiver. All participants are required to sign an online waiver.
