Cedar Rapids Hot Cider Hustle
The Cedar Rapids Hot Cider Hustle is an autumn running event in Cedar Rapids, Iowa scheduled for October 2026. The event offers multiple distance options and uses chip timing for recorded results.

The course starts and finishes at NewBo City Market and uses portions of the Cedar River Trail. The organizers describe the route as flat and fast. Finish line provisions include hot apple cider, caramel apples, and a commemorative finisher mug for participants. A half marathon finisher medal is provided; 5K and 10K finisher medals are available as an add-on. Awards include winner medals to the top three male and female competitors in each age group and overall for the chip timed categories. Age categories run from 10 and under through 70 plus.
Packet pickup can be arranged by mail, collected in advance at a local Dick’s Sporting Goods location, or obtained at the event site on race morning. A virtual category is offered and participant gear mailed for virtual entries is typically delivered a few days before the event. Pacers are provided at set target times.
