Cedar Rapids Hot Cider Hustle
The Cedar Rapids Hot Cider Hustle is a fall running event in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, featuring multiple distances and a start and finish at NewBo City Market. The course runs along the Cedar River Trail and is described as flat and fast. The event offers chip timing and also includes fun run categories.
Race day finish line items include hot apple cider, caramel apples, and a finisher mug for participants. Finisher medals are given to half marathon finishers. Winner medals are awarded to the top three male and female participants overall and in each age group for the half marathon, 10K and 5K chip timed categories. Age groups begin at 10 and under and continue in standard multi year increments up to 70 and over.
Participant gear options include a classic t shirt or an upgraded thin tec quarter zip. Packet pickup may be mailed for a fee for a limited time, with other pickup options available prior to the event. Water stations provide water and half marathon stations also include sports drink. There is no gear check on site. Live participant tracking through a race app is available.
