Castleton Great Ridge Race

The Castleton Great Ridge Race is a BS Category fell race held in the village of Castleton, located within the Peak District National Park. The event course covers a distance of 9.2 km (approximately 5.7 miles) and involves a total ascent of 427 m (1401 ft).

The route begins at the Castleton Playing Fields and takes participants up and along the Great Ridge. The course includes a section that passes through Hollins Cross before returning back down toward the start location.
