Castlegar International Cross Country 2026
Castlegar Athletics Club will host the Castlegar Open Cross Country on 19 September 2026 at the Galway Racecourse. The event has an approved permit, certificate number 23/527, and this year's Open Cross Country is a leg of the World Athletics Bronze Tour.
The meeting includes a mix of juvenile races, adult races and relay events. The adult programme also incorporates the Galway county senior races for men and women. Age categories are defined for under-10 through under-18 athletes based on age or the age they will turn during the calendar year.

- Ladies 6250 m open cross country
- Junior 4400 m
- Under-18 4400 m
- Under-17 4400 m
- Under-16 2600 m
- Under-15 2600 m
- Under-14 2600 m
- Under-13 1600 m
- Under-12 1600 m
- Under-11 1300 m
- Under-10 1300 m
- Under-9 900 m
- Tots fun race (no fee)
