Castle Rock Trail Festival / liveBIG Run
The Castle Rock Trail Festival offers multiple trail events on the town ridgeline and in Philip S. Miller Park and Ridgeline Open Space. Event options range from a family friendly liveBIG adventure run to longer trail races including a 50K ultramarathon.

- Philip S. Miller 5K
- Ridgeline 10K
- Ridgeline Trail Half Marathon
- Ridgeline 50K
All participants receive an event T shirt and finisher’s medal. Professional chip timing is used with a disposable bib chip. Free event photos are provided after the races and post race refreshments are offered at the finish area. Race day registration is available and fees increase by $15 for all races except the Family Adventure Run. Proceeds from the liveBIG race support the Town’s Therapeutic Recreation Program.
The 50K ultramarathon has an eight hour time limit. Aid stations will provide bottled water and basic first aid items; aid stations at Philip S. Miller Park and at numbers 4 and 12 on the Ridgeline side will also offer electrolytes. A 10 by 10 foot tent near the second loop start is available for drop bags during the 50K. Awards are given overall and by age group for races 5K and up with specified age categories for the half marathon, 10K and 50K. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
