Casa in the Heart of Texas Superhero 5K - Brownwood

The Casa in the Heart of Texas Superhero 5K takes place on April 25, 2026, at Riverside Park in Brownwood. The event program includes a chip timed 5K, an untimed 5K and a one mile fun run for children.

Event entries and pricing are listed for each race. The timed 5K has an entry fee of $30 with a reduced fee of $15 for ages 0 to 12. The untimed 5K entry fee is $20 with free entry for ages 0 to 12. Riverside Park borders Pecan Bayou and sits on 46.43 acres on East Commerce near the United Grocery Store entrance. Park amenities include a large playground area, sand volleyball court, boat ramp, nature trail, picnic tables, BBQ pits and restroom facilities. A large pavilion seats 240 and the park offers RV hookups and security lighting. The site also contains an 18 hole Frisbee disc golf course totaling 5,873 feet with a mix of par 3, par 4 and par 5 holes.
