CASA Superhero 5K

CASA Superhero 5K and Kids 1 Mile takes place on Percival's Island Trail in Lynchburg, Virginia. The event features a 5K Run/Walk, a Kids 1 Mile Fun Run, and a Couch Crusader option. The courses are flat, paved rail-trail paths; the 5K is out-and-back and crosses two bridges, while the 1 Mile crosses one bridge.

The atmosphere is family-friendly and superhero-themed, with a festival and a costume contest. Participants receive a race shirt or cape, a swag bag, and a finisher medal (5K and Kids Run). The 5K is timed, and there are age-group awards.
