Carrollton Half Marathon
The Carrollton Half Marathon takes place in Carrollton, GA on September 26, 2026. The event is in its seventh year and includes a standard half marathon, a 2-4 person relay (price listed per team member), and a wheelchair/pushchair category. The half marathon distance is 13.1-mile and the course starts and finishes at Adamson Square.
The route passes Lake Carroll and runs along the Carrollton GreenBelt, using shaded, rolling sections of the GreenBelt and city streets. The finish returns to Adamson Square and is located on a flat stretch of roadway. A post-race festival at the finish features music, entertainment, food, and drinks. Individual and relay registrations include a Carrollton Half Marathon t-shirt, a finisher’s medal, and food and drink tickets for the post-race festivities.
Awards are presented by SoleRoots Running Co. Cash prizes for overall male and female finishers are $500 for first, $200 for second, and $100 for third. Commemorative gifts are given to top masters finishers, top age group finishers, and top relay teams. Age groups cover standard brackets from 14-19 up to 70 plus. The event is held rain or shine and proceeds benefit the Carrollton Greenbelt and the Community Foundation of West Georgia.
