I Carrera Internacional Nocturna La Cala del Moral

The I Carrera Internacional Nocturna La Cala del Moral takes place on 9 May 2026 and is organized by the Ayuntamiento de Rincón de la Victoria (Concejalía de Deportes) together with Club de Atletismo Málaga Bahía. The event uses circuits on the Paseo Marítimo Blas Infante de la Cala del Moral, with the start area near Restaurante Avante Claro and the finish near the Antigua Estación de la Cala del Moral.

Distances:

• 5 km: categories Sub 18 to Master.
• 2,500 m: categories Sub 12, Sub 14 and Sub 16.
• 1,000 m: categories Sub 6, Sub 8 and Sub 10.

National and international athletes may participate provided they comply with RFEA and FAA regulations. The race is included in the national RFEA calendar and the regional FAA calendar and will be controlled by judges of the Federación Andaluza de Atletismo. There will be differentiated starting corrals by color; access to front corrals requires proof of federation or a qualifying mark. Bibs must be worn visibly on the chest and only bibs provided by the organization are valid.

The organization has accident insurance and provides medical service, ambulance coverage and a post-race liquid refreshment area. Registration is open from 5 January to 3 May 2026; the entry fee is 8 euros. Runners in the 5,000 m must hold a RFEA or FAA license or obtain a day license for 3 euros; certain license holders are exempt.

Awards include trophies for top three male and female finishers in the 5 km and 2,500 m races, category trophies and youth medals, plus cash prizes for the top finishers in each distance. Cash prizes require immediate identification and are paid by bank transfer the same day; prize collection rules apply.
