Carmel Marathon Weekend
The event takes place on April 17, 2027 in Carmel, Indiana, with race activities located next to the Palladium at the Center for the Performing Arts and the Carmel Arts and Design District. All race distances use the same official start and finish area, arranged in separate lanes for marathon/half and 10K/5K, with a grass median separating the lanes for the first 300 yards.
The marathon course is USATF certified and described as flat and fast. Marathon and half marathon runners share the first 13 miles on easy, flat roads before diverging; the marathon second half follows a long, shaded paved park trail that is slightly downhill before circling back to the arts district and finishing near the Palladium. In 2024, over 21% of finishers ran Boston qualifying times. The event offers paced groups for the marathon and half marathon, with marathon pacers targeting Boston qualifying times.

The 10K and 5K start together and split after mile one, passing through MidTown and the Monon Greenway. The half marathon includes a cash purse and age group awards three deep. Additional event features listed by the organizer include free parking at the expo and start/finish area, gender-specific shirts, custom finisher medals, a finish line recovery area with a pancake breakfast, an official beer garden, and water and Gatorade approximately every 1.5 miles.
