Carmarthen Mayor's Fun Run Children
The Carmarthen Mayor's Fun Run Children event is scheduled for May 4, 2026 at Guildhall Square, Carmarthen, Carmarthenshire SA31 1PG. The event is organised by Healthy Life Activities and is the 43rd edition. It traditionally attracts over 500 children each year and the listed entry fee is £2.
The programme includes a 5 km fun run with separate male and female age categories and veteran classes, and a series of children's races organised by school year. Children's categories cover primary school years 1 to 6 and secondary school years 7 and 8, while older secondary year categories are included in the adult 5 km results. A mini fun run is offered for children aged six and under and may be accompanied by an adult. Trophies are presented for first, second and third in all categories.
