Carl's 5K and Fall Fest
Carl's 5K and Fall Fest is scheduled for October 17, 2026 at Iowa Farm Sanctuary in Oxford, Iowa. The event includes an in-person 5K run/walk around the sanctuary grounds and a self-timed virtual 5K option. The in-person course winds around the sanctuary and provides a 360 degree tour of the rescued residents; participants may visit animals and stroll the grounds after finishing.
Registration options and fees listed by the organizer include a race entry for $45 for both in-person and virtual participants, and a spectator pass for $15. Registration materials for in-person and virtual registrants include a bib, medal and race packet; shirts are included only for those who register before September 23, 2026. Virtual participants are mailed a packet, medal and t-shirt, with an additional shipping fee for Alaska, Hawaii and international addresses.
The fall festival portion includes food and family activities. The spectator pass includes a Cinnaholic cinnamon roll, cider, a pumpkin to paint and sanctuary strolls.
