Caribou County Fair 5k
The event is a 5K running race held as part of the Caribou County Fair on August 8, 2026, at the fairgrounds located at 110 North 1st West, Grace, ID 83241, USA. The course begins near the art exhibit building on the fair grounds. Bib and shirt pickup is available on race morning.
Registration options and fees are tiered. Pre-registration received by July 21 costs $20 and includes a custom tee shirt. Online registration through August 6 costs $30 and does not guarantee a tee shirt. Race day registration is allowed at a higher fee of $35; payment by check or exact-change cash is accepted. Youth age 10 and under may register and participate with an accompanying adult at no charge; tee shirts are not guaranteed for youth who register for free.
All pre-registered participants are entered into a raffle before the race begins; winners must be present to claim raffle prizes. Age-group awards are offered by gender in these categories: 12 and under, 13-17, 18-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, and 65 and up. The top three in each age group receive fair ribbons (1st place blue, 2nd place red, 3rd place yellow). The first overall male and female each receive a purple Champion ribbon. The first boy and girl 5K finishers age 12 and under receive a blue Jr. Champion ribbon. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
