Practical information is provided for participants and spectators. Bib collection is handled at the historic Carcoar Court House either before race day or on the day itself. Parking is available around Freshwater Park and surrounding residential streets. Historical race day temperatures have ranged from about 8 to 22 degrees Celsius. A six hour cut-off applies to the full marathon; shorter distances are not subject to a marathon cut-off.
The festival highlights local heritage and tourism options in Carcoar and nearby towns, and includes volunteer roles for course marshalling and event support. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
