All event distances are chip timed by Multisport Australia and each finisher receives a Carcoar-themed medal and sponsor giveaways.
Event history notes several regional awards and a milestone of ten years of running in 2022. There is a six hour cut-off for the full marathon; shorter events do not have a cut-off. Race bibs are printed three weeks before the event and posted two weeks out for those opting to receive them by mail. A photographer will be on course and roads are closed with supervision from the Rural Fire Service, though participants are advised to remain vigilant for safety.
