Event Details
The Cape Charles LOVE Run takes place on April 25, 2026. The event is located in Cape Charles, Virginia, with activities centered around 21 Bay Avenue. The course goes through Historic Downtown Cape Charles with views overlooking the Chesapeake Bay.

Registration and Inclusions
Registration is required for all events. The Kids Dash and Wheelchair Race are free. Registration includes a t-shirt, chip timing, and a finisher medal for the 1-mile, 5K, and 10K events. This finisher medal is described as the fourth in a series of four. Participants in the Kids Dash and Wheelchair Race receive a different prize medal.
For the 1-mile, 5K, and 10K events, there is an optional color zone where participants can be sprayed with bright, environmentally safe colors.
Post-Race and Logistics
A post-run party features music, kids' activities, and snacks. Packet pickup is available on Friday, April 24, at the Cape Charles Civic Center and on the morning of the event at the beach gazebo.
