Cantu Solutions 5K Run 2026
The Cantu Solutions Community Run is a charitable sports event taking place at Jovita Idar's "El Progreso Park" (formerly known as Bartlett Park) in Laredo, Texas. This event serves as the inaugural annual community run, with 100 percent of the proceeds designated for local causes. The funds support programs, therapies, and resources for children with autism, as well as initiatives that promote inclusion and quality of life for people with Down Syndrome.
Participants can choose between two different distances:
- 5 km run
- 1.5 km walk
Registration is open to individual age group and open categories. All participants are required to sign a liability waiver and must wear their bib numbers visibly for timing purposes. Packet pickup is held on the day prior to the race at a designated location on McPherson Road; there is no packet pickup available on the day of the event. To collect materials, participants must present a registration confirmation and a photo ID. The event concludes with an awards ceremony following the completion of the distances.
