Cannock Chase Off-Road Duathlons 2026

Cannock Chase Off-Road Duathlons take place in Cannock Chase Forest, Rugeley, WS15 2UQ. The event offers two race formats on off-road trails through forest, open heathland, and gravel tracks. Routes are suitable for Gravel, CX, or Mountain Bikes.

Distances are offered in two formats:

  • Sprint Duathlon: Run 5 km, Cycle 19 km, Run 2.5 km
  • Standard Duathlon: Run 10 km, Cycle 34 km, Run 5 km

A secure transition area is provided for competitors only. Race number and bike number must match the racking spot. Small bags or boxes are permitted inside transition. Bike numbers must be attached and helmets visible before entry, and numbers will be checked before leaving transition.

Live chip-timing is provided by Timing Up North. Results can be submitted towards British Triathlon Age Group qualifiers. All finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a drink and snack. A bespoke event T-shirt is available as an optional extra for £12.

A subsidised car parking charge applies and is payable after the event at the Forestry England machines. The event is organised by Wild Deer Events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
