Event details
The Cannock Chase Off-Road Duathlons take place on 20 September 2026 at Cannock Chase Forest, Rugeley, WS15 2UQ. Entry fees are shown in the source as between £40 and £45. Entrants must be aged 15 or over on the event date. A subsidised car parking charge applies, payable after the event at Forestry England machines.
Race format and facilities
There are two individual distances:
- Sprint Duathlon: Run 5km, Cycle 19km, Run 2.5km
- Standard Duathlon: Run 10km, Cycle 34km, Run 5km
All running and cycling routes are off-road and suitable for Gravel, CX, or Mountain Bikes. A secure transition area is provided for competitors only. Race number and bike number must match the racking spot; a small bag or box is permitted inside transition. Bike numbers must be attached and helmets visible before entry to transition, and numbers will be checked before leaving transition.
Live chip-timing is provided by Timing Up North. Results can be submitted towards British Triathlon Age Group Qualifiers. All finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a drink and snack. A bespoke event T-shirt is available for an additional £12.
