Candle Creek Half Marathon - 22 August 2026
The Candle Creek Half Marathon takes place on 22 August 2026 in Clearwater, British Columbia, and is organized by the Wells Gray Outdoors Club. Registration opens on 1 January 2026. No late entries and no refunds.

This is a trail run with rough terrain. The Candle Creek trail system passes through old growth inland rainforest and can provide views overlooking the North Thompson Valley. Those features affect the character of the courses and the type of effort required.
The race is hosted with the support of local businesses and organizations. Clearwater serves as a gateway to Wells Gray Provincial Park, which has 41 named waterfalls.
