Candle Creek Half Marathon
The Candle Creek Half Marathon takes place on Saturday 22 August 2026 in Clearwater, British Columbia. The event is organized by the Wells Gray Outdoors Club and is located in the Wells Gray region near the provincial park.

This is a trail run and walk on rough terrain. The Candle Creek trail system passes through old growth inland rainforest and includes sections with views over the North Thompson Valley. The course runs on natural surfaces and contains technical sections typical of trail terrain.
Registration opens on January 1, 2026. The organizer states there are no late entries and no refunds. The race is hosted with partnership and support from local businesses and organizations.
