Camas Lily Fun Run
The Camas Lily Fun Run is an annual community event held at the Camas Prairie Centennial Marsh Park in Fairfield, Idaho. This event serves as a fundraiser where all proceeds directly benefit students and teachers through the Camas County Schools and the Parent Teacher Organization. Participants can choose from several event distances:
- 1 Mile Walk or Run
- 5K Walk or Run
- 10K Run
The logistics of the event involve a bus transportation system for participants. After checking in at the Camas Prairie Centennial Marsh Park, runners and walkers load onto a bus that transports them to their designated starting areas. From these points, participants follow the course back to the Marsh Park. Facilities including bathrooms are provided at both the beginning and the end of the race course.
Children aged five and under may participate in the events at no cost. Following the completion of the races, the event includes a post-race gathering featuring snacks, awards, and door prizes. Due to limited space at the venue, carpooling is recommended for those traveling to the site. Registration is available in advance or on the morning of the event at the park.
