Event overview

The Callander 10K is organised by Tay Fitness Events and takes place on Sun 15th Mar 2026 at McLaren Leisure Centre, Callander. There are two distances: a 10K race and a 1K Fun Run. Entry fees are £26 for the 10K and £7 for the 1K. A £2 donation from each entry goes to the charity It’s Good 2 Give.

Course and race services

The route runs toward Loch Venachar and returns alongside the River Teith, with a largely flat return along an old railway line and a final riverside stretch to the finish. Approximately 8.5 km is on tarmac and 1.5 km on compacted trail. There are two water stations at about 4 km and 6.5 km, offering water and Active Root hydration. The 10K uses electronic chip timing; the 1K is not chip-timed. Medical cover and marshals are provided, and the route is marked with large yellow signs.

Entry rules, prizes and facilities

Minimum age is 15 years for the 10K and 5 years for the 1K (under-5s may run with an adult). Medals are provided for all finishers. Prize places are awarded in four gender categories and in several age groups, subject to minimum participant numbers. Facilities at the event hub include toilets, changing rooms, baggage drop and first aid. Public parking is available in Callander town centre; there is no general parking at the leisure centre.
