The Callander 10K takes place on Sun 15th Mar 2026 at McLaren Leisure Centre, Callander. Distances offered:
- 10K - route to Loch Venachar and return alongside the River Teith
- 1K - fun run
The 10K route runs toward Loch Venachar, follows an old railway line for the return to Callander, and finishes along the riverside. The surface is approximately 8.5 km tarmac and 1.5 km compacted trail. There are two water stops on the 10K course at about 4 km and 6.5 km. The route will be marked and staffed with marshals and medical personnel.
Participation and logistics
Entry fees are listed as 10K £26 and 1K £7, with £2 from each entry donated to the charity It’s Good 2 Give. Age limits are 15+ for the 10K and 5+ for the 1K (under 5s may run with adult supervision). The 10K uses integrated race number and chip timing; the 1K is not chip-timed. All finishers receive a medal and water at the finish. The entry fee includes medical provision, electronic timing, free event photos, and race hydration from Active Root. Facilities include toilets, changing rooms, baggage drop and first aid. Public parking is available in Callander town centre; there is no general parking at the McLaren Leisure Centre. Dogs are not permitted to participate. Prize awards and refund/transfer/deferral rules are specified by the organiser. Road shoes are recommended.
