Calico Trail Run - January 25, 2026
The Calico Trail Run is the 22nd annual trail running event held on Sunday, January 25, 2026. It is a USATF-sanctioned race organized by a nonprofit group that aims to promote education about the Mojave Desert and provide resources to underprivileged communities. The event takes place at the Historic Calico Ghost Town and the Calico Mountains mining district near Yermo, California, at 36600 Ghost Town Road. Calico Ghost Town was founded in 1881 and later became a San Bernardino County regional park in 1967. The area has a history of silver and borax mining dating to the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
