Concussion & CTE Awareness Run/Walk
This community event brings people together to raise awareness about the lasting impact of concussions and repetitive head impacts. It was created to honor a late physician and to support related research and advocacy.
The event includes a run/walk at Clement Park Lake in Littleton, Colorado. Each lap around the lake is 1.5 miles; the course can be configured for longer distances. The day is intended to provide time for gathering, reflection, and mutual support, and to channel loss into action by supporting research and awareness efforts.
Key event details include the following.
- Adult run/walk, course laps of 1.5 miles
- Kids run for ages 0-10
Registration fees are listed for separate categories and include a T-shirt and bib. Remaining funds collected will be donated to the Concussion & CTE Foundation in honor of the person remembered by the organizers. Registration opens in April and closes on the event date in June 2026; separate registration dates are noted for adult and youth categories. The location is Clement Park Lake, 7306 W Bowles Ave, Littleton, CO 80123. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
