The Cabot Trail Relay Race is an annual relay held in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. The race covers 185 miles ( 276.33 km ) divided into 17 stages. The route begins in Baddeck, climbs over steep mountains within Cape Breton Highlands National Park, passes through several small communities along the Cabot Trail, and continues to the gently rolling Margaree Valley.
