Cabool - FoDU 5K for Hope
The Cabool - FoDU 5K for Hope is a community 5K run/walk held at Cabool Second Baptist Church, 13475 Industrial Park Drive, Cabool, MO 65689. The event aims to benefit and empower children in Uganda through fundraising activities held on race day.
On race day there is on-site registration, check-in, and packet pickup. Ample free parking is available at the race site. The event is family friendly; strollers and dogs are permitted on the course.
Participants will find one water stop along the course and water and snacks at the finish area. Awards are presented for overall and youth categories, including 1st and 2nd fastest male, fastest female, and 1st and 2nd fastest male and female youth under 16. Results are posted after the event. A course map is included in participant swag bags.
Additional donations are accepted at the event. A Ugandan marketplace selling handmade items from Uganda and a silent auction are featured; vendors accept cash, Venmo, and credit cards.
