Events
The Buzzard's Glory 5k offers two events:
- Buzzards Glory 5k: A chip-timed 5 km run/walk.
- Little Foot Run: A 1 mile fun run for participants aged 12 and under. Pre-registration is required for this event.
Location and Course
The event is based at Cavalier Stadium on Butler Street in Coldwater, Ohio. Both the 5k and the 1-mile fun run start and finish at the stadium.
Registration and Fees
For the 5k, there is a pre-registration fee of $15 without a shirt. Race day registration for the 5k is available for a fee of $20. Pre-registration is available online only. For the Little Foot Run, pre-registration is $5 without a shirt or $10 on race day. A dri-fit technical shirt is available with pre-registration for an additional fee for both events, but shirts are only guaranteed for online pre-registrations by a specified deadline and will not be sold on race day.
Additional Information
Awards and door prizes are presented at Coldwater Park after the race. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers overall and in each age group. The event also serves as the finale for the Mercer Health 5k Challenge, a series of seven local races. Parking is available at the Cavalier Stadium lot. Water, first aid, and radio communications are provided on the course, with split times at the 1, 2, and 3-mile markers. Refreshments are available at the finish, and restrooms and showers are accessible at the start and finish area. All proceeds benefit Coldwater Memorial Park and the Coldwater Library.
