Buu 250
Buu 250 is a multi-day running and biking undertaking across the Navajo Nation set for September 2 through September 11, 2026. The effort covers a total of 250 miles and includes organized race distances and community activities along the route.
Distances included:
- Marathon Series - 26.2 Miles
- Half Marathon Series - 13.1 Miles
- 10K Series - 10 kilometers
- 5K Series - 5 kilometers
The route is organized into ten daily stages. Day 1 runs from Inscription House to Navajo Mountain; Day 2 from Bodaway Gap to Coppermine; Day 3 in Shonto Community; Day 4 from Mexican Hat to Monument Valley; Day 5 in Red Mesa Community; Day 6 from Shiprock to Red Valley; Day 7 from Bisti Badlands to Lake Valley; Day 8 from Red Valley to Lukachukai; Day 9 at Canyon De Chelly; and Day 10 from Crystal to Window Rock, finishing at the Window Rock Fairgrounds on September 11, 2026.
Each day's activity is paired with a Navajo Nation Resource Fair in the communities along the route, providing information about local programs, services and resources.
