About the race
The Burj2Burj Half-Marathon is a 21.1 km road race in Dubai scheduled for 24 January 2027. The event routes runners through Dubai’s skyline, moving from one landmark to another, and uses batched start corrals. Organisers provide a training programme aimed at new runners. Entry sales are staged across several windows for 2026 and 2027 entries: General Sale (22 June 2026 to 31 August 2026) at AED 260, Late Sale (31 August 2026 to 2 November 2026) at AED 310, and Last Minute Sale (2 November 2026 to 3 January 2027) at AED 350.
Entries for the event are limited and close when capacity is reached. In 2026 the race attracted over 15,000 runners representing 172 nationalities. The field in 2026 was 39% women; the youngest recorded participant was 16 and the oldest was in their 70s. The event is presented by World Iconic Events LLC and lists multiple commercial partners and sponsors.
