Bulldog Challenge - Run For Those Gone But Never Forgotten
The Bulldog Challenge is a community running and walking event held in Effingham, Illinois, at St. Anthony High School, 304 E Roadway Ave. The event offers multiple distances and formats to accommodate runners and walkers.
Distances offered:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 10K Run
- 2 Miles Fun Walk
Registration information is provided for each distance. Early registration is priced at $30 and includes a new T-shirt; day of race registration is $35 and does not include a T-shirt. Registration opens on May 21, 2026 and closes on July 21, 2026. Packet pick-up is available on the Friday before the event from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and on the event day from 6:00 am to 7:30 am.
Prizes include a $100 award for the overall male and overall female winners. Race proceeds will be donated to St. Anthony athletics. The event title and subtitle indicate a commemorative purpose. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
