Bulfinch Bee Run, Lancaster MA

The Bulfinch Bee Run is the fourth annual community event held on May 2, 2026, in Lancaster, Massachusetts. The event name refers to a large colony of bees that was discovered and rescued from the bell tower of the Bulfinch Meetinghouse during renovation in 2011. The route is a 5k community fun run/walk/roll through the neighborhood near the historic Bulfinch Meetinghouse. Costumes are encouraged.

The event concludes on the meetinghouse lawn with food, beer, prizes, live music and additional on-site activities. Net proceeds from this year will help offset costs for community programming and for building maintenance.

Entry pricing is listed as $30 for general registration, with ages 0 to 5 free and ages 6 to 18 priced at $20. The event page notes eligibility from ages 1 to 101. The first 100 registrants will receive this year’s event T-shirt.
