About the race
The Wizz Air Budapest Half Marathon is an organized road race in Budapest centred on the Pázmány Péter Promenade and a route that passes several UNESCO World Heritage sites. The event offers multiple formats: an individual half marathon, relays for two and three, and a 10 km race. The individual half marathon distance is 21.097 km; relay splits are published for the two- and three-person options; the shorter race is 10 km.
Race services included for registered participants cover a technical race shirt, a finisher’s medal, refreshment points along the course, chip timing with UHF bib chips, medical service, traffic-free course sections, and a finisher goodie bag. Kilometre markers are placed along the route and PUMA pace runners support a range of target finish times from 1:30 up to 3:00.
Logistics and participant rules are provided: bib pick-up times on site, start zone allocation by planned pace, wheelchair and handbike provisions, baggage drop with size limits, refreshment station locations and offerings, a 3-hour net time cut-off, and AGNI-Timing race timing.
