Bromo Marathon 2026 : 13th Edition
The International Bromo Marathon is scheduled for 6 September 2026 in Tosari, East Java, within the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. The event is a trail running race across volcanic highland terrain around Mount Bromo.

The race holds UTMB Index status and is ITRA certified, providing international ranking points. Event logistics include shuttle transportation options from Juanda Airport, Gubeng Station, and Malang Station.
Organizers require mandatory safety and support items for longer distances; selected required items include a running vest or belt, at least 1 litre hydration, snack or energy bar, mobile phone with GPX file, personal medicine, waterproof jacket, emergency whistle, buff or neck gaiter, BIB number, headlamp with spare batteries, ID card, and foot gaiter. Recommended gear includes trail shoes, cap or sunglasses, cash for emergencies, and insect repellent. All mandatory gear is checked at BIB collection and missing items can result in disqualification.
