Event overview
The Bromesberrow Speed Runway event on 1 March 2026 is a community fundraiser held at Bromesberrow Village Hall, Albright Lane, Bromesberrow, Gloucester. Race details
The programme includes multiple race categories and a timed feature within the main route:
- 10 km main run (age 18+)
- 10 km category for ages 14-17
- 1 km under-18 fun run
The main 10 km route uses fields and roads around Bromesberrow and contains a hidden 1 km "Speed Runway" - a timed section within the 10 km course. Places available are 350 for the main race, 50 for the 14-17 category, and 100 for the junior 1 km race. Entries close on 20 February 2026 or sooner if capacity is reached.
Fees, prizes and rules
Early entry fees: main 10 km £15 then £17 after 1 January 2026; under-18 1 km £5 then £7 after 1 January. Additional items listed include goody bags and T-shirts at set prices. Medals are provided for all finishers. Awards are planned for fastest overall and parishioner categories, and for the fastest 1 km Speed Runway. The organiser states no dogs, no pushchairs or chariots, and no refunds.
