Event overview
The ORRRC Broken Toe event is held at Caesar Creek State Park Campground in Wilmington, OH (9000 Center Rd). The event on November 1, 2025 includes multiple race options and a ruck option. Registration deadlines: register before October 1, 2025 to guarantee swag and apparel; general registration ends October 31, 2025. A GPX course file is provided.

Awards are given for top finishers in the 50K and 25K, with extra medals for certain RRCA championship categories. All finishers receive a unique finisher token. Ruck finishers receive a patch. Optional apparel (beanie and hoodie) is available with an order deadline of September 30, 2025.
Course and logistics
The course is a roughly 16.5 mile loop through wooded terrain with rolling hills, gullies, creek crossings, and sections along Caesar Creek Lake. The 25K distance is one loop and the 50K is two loops; GPS devices may record 16.2 to 17 miles per loop. There are four aid stations: two manned stations offering snacks, Tailwind, water, hand sanitizer, menstrual products, and porta-potties, and two unmanned stations with water only. This is a cupless race; no cups will be provided. Drop bags are allowed at the start/finish for 50K participants. Ruck participants must carry a minimum weight of 15 to 20 pounds.
