Bright Skies Surrey Hills
Bright Skies is a daytime trail running event at Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking, set on the rolling, often muddy hills of the Surrey Hills. The event includes multiple race distances and has previously been held at Denbies.
Distances offered:
- Marathon
- Half marathon
- 10K including canic entries
- 1K kid’s race for 3 to 12 year olds
- 2K kid’s race for 3 to 12 year olds
The marathon uses self navigation; all checkpoints must be reached. Registration takes place at Denbies (event marquee/gazebo). The course passes through the Denbies Estate and follows undulating terrain typical of the local hills. The event grew out of the Dark Skies event in the Wild Night Run Series and represents a daytime iteration of that route. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
