Brigham 10K, Cockermouth
The event is a 10 km road race in Brigham, Cockermouth on 25 April 2026. All money raised will be donated to Friends of St Bridgets to buy equipment for the school.
On-the-day registration is based at the social club. Pre-event online registration closes on 24 April 2026 at 18:00. Entry prices are listed as £14 for affiliated runners and £16 for unaffiliated runners.
Parking is available along Low Road. Participants are asked not to park in the church car park or within Allerdale Yard behind the social club. Organisers advise car sharing where possible and ask people to follow the instructions of parking attendants and be considerate if leaving early, as other competitors may still be finishing.
Closed headphones are not permitted. First aid is available; runners should alert a marshal if they require assistance. Water will be provided midway around the course and at the finish. A clay medal created by children at St Bridget's CofE School will be given to participants, and further baked goods and hot drinks will be available from the social club and cake stall.
The event will be fully chip timed by Timing Up North Results. Prize giving will take place after the last runner has finished or at the scheduled prize-giving time. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
