Event
The Brigham 10K takes place on Saturday 25 April 2026 in Brigham, Cockermouth. The race distance is 10 km. All money raised will be donated to Friends of St Bridget's to buy equipment for the school. Registration closes on 24 April 2026.
Race details and logistics
Entry fees are listed as £14 for affiliated runners and £16 for unaffiliated runners; a booking fee of £0.50 plus 5% per order applies. Registration is held at the Social Club. The event is fully chip timed by Timing Up North Results. Closed headphones are not permitted. First aid provision is available; runners should alert a marshal if first aid is required. Prize giving will take place after the last runner has crossed the finish line.
Facilities and other notes
Parking is along Low Road; participants are asked not to use the church car park or Allerdale Yard (behind the social club) and to follow the instructions of parking attendants. Water is provided halfway around the course and at the end of the race. A clay medal made by the children at St Bridget's CofE School will be given to participants.
