Brigantine Cherry Blossom Festival 5k
The Brigantine Cherry Blossom Festival 5k is scheduled for April 24, 2026 in Brigantine, New Jersey. The event starts and finishes at the Brigantine Community Center, 265 42nd Street, and takes place in the evening beneath the city's cherry blossom trees. The event is organized by Green Whales, Inc. and the Brigantine Green Team.

The 5K course is mostly on paved roads with a short section of sand, dirt, or gravel at the turnaround. Timing chips are included with the race bib for the 5K run. Participants must be pre-registered and paid online prior to race-day check-in; bib and chip pickup is handled at the community center.
Prizes are planned for top finishers. The first male and first female finisher will receive a cherry blossom tree to be planted by Brigantine Green Team volunteers. Second and third place male and female finishers will receive baskets of items donated by local Brigantine businesses.
The event is scheduled to proceed rain or shine. Event organizers reserve the right to cancel if conditions are unsafe; in that case no refund will be issued but participants will receive a discount coupon for a future Green Whales Racing, Inc. event.
