Participation Details
The 10K Run, 5K Run, and 5K Walk use bib chip timing technology provided by Epic Race Timing. Runners and walkers who register by mid-June are guaranteed a race shirt. For those registering at later dates, shirts are subject to availability.
The 1.1 Mile Fun Run is an untimed event designed primarily for elementary-aged participants, though it is open to all ages. While race shirts are not included in the registration for the Fun Run, they are available for purchase, and every participant in this distance receives a finisher medal.
Awards and Recognition
For the timed events, awards are presented to athletes who place first through third in their respective age groups. These participants receive gold, silver, or bronze Bee Medals. The age categories begin at 10 and under and continue in five-year increments up to the 70 and over group. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
