Bridekirk Dovenby 10K - 16 May 2026
The Bridekirk Dovenby 10K is an undulating road race held in the Bridekirk and Tallentire area of Great Britain, with the start and finish at Bridekirk Dovenby School. The route is a loop through quiet country roads, rising toward Tallentire hill and returning to the school. Water is provided at approximately 5 km near the top of Tallentire hill; participants are encouraged to reduce waste by carrying their own bottle or cup.
The event in 2026 is the inaugural running. There is a children’s fun run before the 10 km race, and refreshments will be available in the school grounds. The race raises money for the Friends Of Bridekirk Dovenby School charity. Parking is available at M-Sport in Dovenby, a short walk from the school, and lift sharing is encouraged.
Entry details listed at the time of publication include an entry fee of £15 plus additional fees, a registration closing date of 15 May 2026 at 23:59, and 175 remaining places. Affiliated runners receive a £2 discount during registration. If entries do not sell out, a limited number of day entries will be available with a £5 surcharge.
