Bridekirk Dovenby 10K
This is the inaugural Bridekirk Dovenby 10K, scheduled for 16 May 2026. It is an undulating road race that starts and finishes at Bridekirk Dovenby School.
The 10 km route is a loop around the quiet country roads in the picturesque Bridekirk and Tallentire area. It goes through Bridekirk and Tallentire, up towards Tallentire Hill, and returns to the school through Bridekirk. Water will be available near the top of Tallentire hill, at approximately the 5 km point.
Participants must be at least 16 years old. Affiliated runners receive a discount on the entry fee. Parking is available at M-Sport in Dovenby, a short walk from the start. A fun run for children will be held before the main race, and refreshments will be available in the school grounds.
The event raises money for the Friends Of Bridekirk Dovenby School charity. Live results will be provided by Timing Up North. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
