Bridekirk Dovenby 10K
The Bridekirk Dovenby 10K is an undulating road race held on 16 May 2026. The course starts at Bridekirk Dovenby School and follows a loop through Bridekirk and Tallentire, including an ascent toward Tallentire hill before returning to the school via Bridekirk. The event is the inaugural running for 2026.
Entry is open to runners aged 16 and over. Affiliated runners receive a £2 discount during sign up. The standard entry fee is £15.00 plus a fee of £0.50 and 5% per participant. If the event does not sell out there will be a limited number of entries available on the day with a £5 surcharge. At the time of listing there were 175 remaining places and registration closes 15 May 2026 at 23:59.
Parking is available at M-Sport in Dovenby, a short walk from the start, and participants are asked to lift share where possible. A water station will be provided at approximately 5 km near the top of Tallentire hill, with a request to reduce waste by carrying a personal bottle or cup. A children’s fun run takes place before the main 10 km, and refreshments will be available in the school grounds. Live results will be provided by Timing Up North.
