Bridekirk Dovenby 10K
The Bridekirk Dovenby 10K is an undulating road race located in Great Britain. This event, scheduled for May 2026, marks the inaugural running of the competition. The course consists of a loop on quiet country roads through the Bridekirk and Tallentire areas.
Participants start the 10 km course at Bridekirk Dovenby School. The route travels through Bridekirk and Tallentire, heading up toward Tallentire Hill before returning to finish back at the school. A water station is available near the 5 km mark at the top of the hill. Runners are encouraged to carry their own bottles or cups to help reduce waste.
Registration is open to individuals with a minimum age of 16 years. Affiliated runners receive a discount on the entry fee. While registration typically closes the day before the event, a limited number of entries may be available on the day with a surcharge if the race has not sold out.
