Brent Morrison Memorial No Runners Forgotten 8K
The Brent Morrison Memorial No Runners Forgotten 8K is the 11th annual memorial run held on July 11, 2026 in Barling, Arkansas. The race uses a certified course of 4.97 miles and is included as a championship race in the 2026 Arkansas Grand Prix. The start and finish will use the official line at Mercy Chaffee Crossing Medical Clinic, 7003 Chad Colley Blvd, Barling AR 72923, with planned parking across the street at the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine.
The event is organized by Western Arkansas Runners, a nonprofit club that supports weekly runs and programs for runners and walkers. A portion of proceeds will fund a junior run clinic and a memorial site, with the remainder supporting the club’s day to day activities and sponsored events.
Age group awards will be presented and all participants receive a finishers award. Race timing is provided by a professional timing service. Post-race provisions include food and music, and dogs are not permitted on the course. Registration includes a stated fee of $25. Registration will be open until 6:30 am on July 11, 2026.
