Acorn Guest Farm Breakfast Run Spring Edition
The event is a trail run and walk at Acorn Guest Farm in Carolina, Mpumalanga. Participants can choose between two distances:
- 5 km farm run or walk
- 10 km farm run
Entry categories include adults and a kids category for the 5 km (under 12). Entry fees are R60 for the 5 km with R10 for children under 12, and R80 for the 10 km. Breakfast and a farm market follow the run. The farm offers a Bring & Braai where guests bring their own meat and the venue provides the fire, wood, braai facilities and three sides: deli potato salad, garden Greek salad and braai broodjies.
Breakfast pre-orders are required and close on 7 October. Breakfast pricing is R95 per adult and R50 per child under 12. The farm market features local produce and homemade items such as vegetables, farm milk, free-range eggs, freshly baked bread, cookies, tarts, rusks and smoothies.
Acorn Guest Farm is an agricultural property with cattle, corn and soya bean production, a private forest, and restored century-old buildings used as venue and accommodation spaces.
