Braving The Elements 5k : February 14, 2026

The Braving The Elements 5k is part of Arcade's Winterfest Celebration in Arcade, NY. The event is based at Arcade Elementary School, 351 West Main Street, and the 5k course starts at Arcade Elementary and finishes at the Arcade VFW. A portion of registration fees will be used for a charitable contribution. The event description refers to the race as a snowy 5K during Winterfest.

0.4 miles - Kids Fun Run

The 5k offers participant T-shirts to those who register on or before January 15, 2026. Fee structure in the event description lists reduced pricing for students and different rates for adults and late registrations: $20 for students up to age 18, $30 for adults, and $35 for registrations made after online registration closes on February 12, 2026 through race day. On-site registration will be available the morning of the race.

The Kids Fun Run is free to enter. Participants meet at the shelter at the bottom of the sledding hill near the playground at Arcade park. Children receive a race bib before the run and a goodie bag and medal after the race. The kids course is described as a half loop at the park, and spectators are welcome along the course.
