Bras Across the CAUSEway 5K & Festival
Bras Across the CAUSEway is a community 5K and festival scheduled for October 10, 2026 at USS ALABAMA Battleship Memorial Park. The event is presented as a combined race and community festival and marks its tenth annual edition.
Funds raised provide direct financial assistance to local breast cancer patients who are actively receiving treatment in Mobile and Baldwin Counties. Eligible support covers medical bills and diagnostic testing, rent or mortgage and utility payments, groceries and household necessities, transportation to treatment, and basic needs for children. Applications are reviewed in collaboration with local oncology social workers to direct funds to patients with demonstrated need.
The event has developed sponsorship tiers and community partnerships under the “Giverbacker” program. Sponsorship levels range from high-value packages with event recognition and multiple race registrations to smaller contributions that include website listing and race entries. Some sponsorship levels include vendor booth placement, shirt recognition, swag bag inclusion, and a set number of race registrations. Organizer-reported impact estimates accompany top tiers.
