BRA Run - Los Angeles
The BRA Run - Los Angeles is scheduled for August 29, 2027 at Dockweiler Beach, 12000 Vista Del Mar, Playa Del Rey, CA 90293. The event is the 15th annual edition and uses a fully paved course adjacent to the sand.
Event distances and formats include:
- 13K road race
- 5K road race
- 1K kids run
- 5K virtual race
- 13K virtual race
- 14 mile bike ride, untimed, aid station at the halfway point
- Bike + 13K duathlon, 14 mile bike then 13K run
- Bike + 5K duathlon, 14 mile bike then 5K run
The 13K has a two hour time limit (approximately a 15 minute per mile pace). Virtual participants receive a mailed bib, shirt and medal. A costume contest is part of the event with categories for female individual best decorated bra, male individual best decorated bra, and best dressed team; teams must have five or more people to enter team competitions. An awards ceremony follows the races. Parking at the site is subject to LA County fees ($13).
