Snakebite - Fountain Hills, AZ
Snakebite is a trail running event hosted at McDowell Mountain Regional Park just outside Fountain Hills, Arizona. The event offers two distances, primarily on trails:

The course is almost entirely (95%) on trails and features gently rolling hills. Volunteers support the event and food is provided after the race. The race is the third and final event in the McDowell Mountain Cup Series; other series races include the Pemberton Trail events on January 23 and the Stoneman Trail 14k on February 6. Participants may choose either the longer or shorter distances at Pemberton Trail and Snakebite to qualify for the Cup.
