The BougeBouge Wakefield Covered Bridge Run takes place in Wakefield, Quebec, at Centre Vorlage. The event is scheduled for 11 October 2026 and includes multiple road and trail distances. Distances offered include:

Course details and services
Course notes: the 3 km course crosses the covered bridge. The 5 km course crosses the bridge and follows the Gatineau River for about 1 km before turning back. The 10 km road course is roughly one third paved and two thirds gravel. A separate 10 km trail option and the 21.1 km trail include varied terrain with hills, forests and plains; the longer trail reaches Philippe Lake. The 21.1 km trail is limited to 250 participants and requires runners to be at least 10 years old. Dogs are not allowed on the trail run.
Timing and race kit: events are timed by SPORTSTATS.CA. Participants receive a personalized bib and a finisher prize; a clock will be at the finish. Medals must be picked up with the bib during the event; unclaimed medals will be recycled.
Logistics and amenities: five water stations are on the courses and water will be available at the finish. Indoor washrooms are at Centre Vorlage; no toilets are available on course. An unsupervised locker is available. Free overnight parking and basic camping are offered at the race site with no hookups or shower services. Group-purchase discounts apply for multiple tickets.
