BougeBouge Wakefield Covered Bridge Run
On 11 October 2026 BougeBouge organizes a combined road and trail event in Wakefield, QC, at Centre Vorlage. Courses cross the Wakefield covered bridge and include sections in Gatineau Park and along the Gatineau River.

The road and trail courses feature varied terrain. The 10 km road route is roughly one third paved road and two thirds gravel. Trail races include hills, flat stretches, forests and open plains and begin with a steep ascent on a Vorlage ski trail. The 21.1 km trail is limited to 250 participants and requires a minimum age of 10 years. Dogs are not allowed on the trail run.
On site facilities include indoor restrooms at the Vorlage Center, an unsupervised locker area and paid overnight parking. Timing is managed by an official provider and a clock will be visible at the finish. There are five water stations on the courses. Registrations include a personalized bib and a finisher item handed out at arrival. Medals must be picked up at the event when collecting the bib; unclaimed medals will be recycled.
