The BougeBouge Outaouais Festival combines a trail run and a sports festival in Gatineau, centered at Collège Saint-Alexandre. The program includes races over several distances.

Multiple activity zones are part of the event: a performance zone with a magician and musical groups, a team sports area with local clubs, a family zone presented by Desjardins with face painting, a BougeBouge zone presented by MAXI with inflatable games, an active zone hosting sports and health partners, a food zone with local vendors, a foam zone at the 1 km finish, and a bike zone featuring jugglers and unicyclists. Podium ceremonies are planned for top finishers in several distances.
Timing is provided by Sportstats and results are classified by age category. Parking is available near the arena and a local school and chemical toilets will be provided near the start. Registration includes a variable finisher prize and photographic coverage. The event specifies policies for bib collection and medal pick-up, bib transfers, pricing rules, and non refundable tickets unless the organizer cancels.
