BougeBouge Outaouais Festival 2026
The BougeBouge Outaouais Festival takes place at the Asticou Centre in Gatineau. The event features a variety of running distances: 1 km, 2.5 km, 5 km, and 10 km. Participants can also walk the 5 km, 2.5 km, and 1 km courses. The 10 km distance is GOLD certified by the Quebec Athletics Federation (FAQ). Timing is provided by Sportstats.
A race ticket grants full access to the festival's other activities and entertainment. These are organized into themed zones: a show zone with a magician and music groups, a team sports zone for introductory workshops (soccer, pickleball, volleyball, adapted baseball), a family zone with face painting for kids, an inflatable games zone, and an active zone showcasing various local sports clubs. A special foam zone is set up for finishers of the 1 km event.
Other activities include a bike learning game for children (Cycloparc), which requires advance registration. Aid stations will be available on the course.
