Bone Yard Trail Race
The Bone Yard Trail Race is the seventh annual running event held on Mt. Zion Bike Trail near Brookhaven, MS. The event was formerly called Dust N Bones and offers multiple course options on the bike trail system at 1134 Mt Zion Rd NW, Brookhaven, MS 39601.

- 10 Miler
- 20 Miler
- 50K
The course is mostly narrow and well marked, featuring ups and downs, twists and turns, and wooden bridges. Aid is provided with snacks and water at the 3 mile and 7 mile marks and again at the finish. There is seating at and around a pavilion; bringing a lawnchair may help secure a seat. Parking at the site is somewhat limited.
Mt. Zion Bike Trails were created to promote health and fitness while enjoying the outdoors. The trails are open to the public with no required fee and a donation kiosk is available at the trail head. Profits from this event are used for trail upkeep and improvements.
All participants who register and pay receive an event t shirt. Overall awards are given to the top three male and female finishers and to the top three relay teams. Registration for the event closes on Wed, May 13 at 11:59 PM CT. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
