Bone Yard Trail Race - Mt. Zion Bike Trail
Bone Yard Trail Race is the 7th annual event held on Mt. Zion Bike Trail near Brookhaven, MS. The event includes multiple distance options on a mostly narrow, well-marked trail that features ups, downs, twists, turns, and wooden bridges.

An ultramarathon distance was added three years earlier and a 5K option was added this year. Snacks and water are provided at 3 miles, 7 miles, and at the finish. Seating is available at and around the pavilion; bringing lawnchairs can help guarantee a seat. Parking is somewhat limited, and participants commonly carpool.
Mt. Zion Bike Trails were created to promote health and fitness while enjoying the outdoors. The trails are open to the public without a required fee; donations are accepted in a kiosk at the trailhead. Profits from this run are used for trail upkeep and improvements.
All participants with paid registration receive an event tshirt. Overall awards are given to the top three male and female finishers and to the top three relay teams.
